Meeks Family Fieldhouse serves as the home of the University of Evansville volleyball and women's basketball programs. Located inside the Carson Center, the fieldhouse also hosts numerous athletic and university events throughout the year and is open for practice for other UE programs.
One of the elite facilties in the Midwest, Meeks Family Fieldhouse features the only Taraflex volleyball floor in the Missouri Valley Conference. A new floor was installed for the women's basketball program as the Lady Aces made the move back to campus. Both the volleyball and women's basketball floors are named after UE women's sports pioneer Lois D. Patton.
In 2017, the newly-remodeled fieldhouse made its debut. The home of the Purple Aces women's basketball and volleyball squads was renovated and features several new amenities including:
One of the top basketball practice facilities in the nation is on the campus of the University of Evansville. The Fifth Third Basketball Practice Facility opened in 2012 and provides identical facilities for the men's and women's basketball programs.
The $3.6 million, 25,000-square-foot facility, located on the west side of UE’s Carson Center, was funded entirely by private donors. It includes gym space, men’s and women’s players’ lounges, and offices and storage areas for basketball coaching staff. The Fifth Third Bank Basketball Practice Facility was the first phase of the University of Evansville’s new campus facilities master plan.
In 2019, the facility received upgrades for both programs. The player lounges added theater style seating that transformed the room into a video room that mirrors some at the top levels. Graphic elements were added in the hallways and gyms in order to give the facility an updated look.
